I've finished reading this book. I believe authors accurately identify what is wrong with the current system and offer possible solutions. I may not fully agree with everything they say but this book is meant to be a starting point of a critical look at our educational system. The aim of the current system is teaching. Ackoff and Greenberg point out that the aim ought to be learning. I and, I believe, many homeschooling parents instinctively know this is indeed the case - the aim is learning!
